Information Systems & Digital Platforms Manager - Permanent - 19137 About the Opportunity A well-established nonprofit organization, headquartered in Downtown Ottawa, is looking for a Bilingual Information Systems & Digital Platforms Manager to join their growing Operations team. The Information Systems & Digital Platforms Manager is responsible for the strategy, performance, and continuous evolution of the organization’s core business systems and digital ecosystem. This role ensures that internal operational platforms and external-facing digital solutions, including customer databases, web platforms, integrations, and reporting tools, effectively support business operations, user experience, and data-driven decision-making.
Fluent bilingualism in both official languages is imperative. Moreover, this is a hybrid role consisting of three days/week in-office.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Systems Strategy & Governance: Lead the technology roadmap and strategic planning for core business platforms, ensuring systems are secure, scalable, and aligned with organizational objectives
- Database & Digital Experience Management: Oversee the administration and optimization of the primary CRM/customer database and web platforms to ensure data integrity and a seamless user experience
- Integrations & Process Automation: Design and manage data flows between disparate systems using APIs and automation tools to eliminate manual processes and improve operational efficiency
- Data, Analytics & Reporting: Architect reporting frameworks and build business intelligence dashboards to deliver actionable insights and support data-driven decision-making across leadership teams
- Project Delivery & Vendor Management: Lead end-to-end system implementations and digital transformation initiatives while managing external vendor relationships, service contracts, and user change management
About You The successful candidate will have the following:
- Education & Credentials: Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience), with certifications in UX, project management, or enterprise systems considered an asset
- Systems & CRM Administration: Proven experience managing, configuring, and optimizing enterprise-level business systems and customer databases (CRMs) to drive data integrity and user adoption
- Digital Experience & UX: Experience managing web platforms and applying user experience (UX) principles to improve digital journeys, accessibility, and online stakeholder engagement
- Integrations & Automation: Strong technical knowledge of systems architecture, data flows, APIs, and process automation tools to connect disparate business applications
- Data Analytics & Insights: Experience building reporting frameworks and utilizing business intelligence tools to deliver dashboards and data-driven insights to leadership
- Project & Vendor Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional technology implementations, manage external software vendors, and guide teams through organizational change management
About the Job This is a permanent role with one of the region’s top nonprofit employers. As this organization employs a hybrid work model, only candidates local to the Ottawa/NCR will be considered.
This client offers a generous compensation package that includes a salary range of $70,000 to $90,000, pension contribution plan, full benefits, etc.
