About the Opportunity 

A global provider of high-availability technology solutions is seeking an Engineering Project Manager to join a fast-paced, dynamic team. Reporting to senior leadership within the Project Management Office (PMO), the successful candidate will oversee the entire lifecycle of mission-critical infrastructure deployment. You will manage multiple concurrent projects across diverse international markets, ensuring compliance in highly regulated environments while providing leadership and mentorship to cross-functional teams.

Duties include but are not limited to:
  • Project Oversight: Manage all phases of the project lifecycle from initiation to closure, deploying safety-critical software and hardware solutions to a global customer base
  • Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including global clients, vendors, sub-contractors, and stringent regulatory authorities
  • Scope & Quality Control: Define and manage complex system requirements, handle change management, and ensure all documentation complies with strict quality assurance processes
  • Risk & Resource Management: Proactively identify project risks, develop mitigation strategies for zero-fail environments, and ensure effective resource allocation
  • Reporting & Governance: Prepare detailed project reports, dashboards, and performance metrics for executive leadership and external oversight bodies
  • Continuous Improvement: Support the development of PMO templates, workflows, and continuous improvement initiatives
About You

The successful candidate will have the following:
  • Experience: 6+ years of relevant project management experience, with a strong track record of delivering technical solutions for external clients in mission-critical environments such as aerospace and defence, aviation, etc. 
  • Certification: PMP certification is critical, with equivalent or alternative PM certifications such as Prince2, CSM, PSM I, PMI-ACP, or CAPM a strong asset
  • Education & Tech Savvy: A degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field, with a solid understanding of complex IT infrastructure, system integrations, and real-time software development lifecycles (SDLC)
  • Skills: Exceptional leadership, organizational, and analytical problem-solving skills. Proficiency with standard industry project management tools is expected
  • Travel: Ability to travel internationally up to 30% of the time
About the Job

Salary is commensurate of experience, $100,000 to $140,000, and is in addition to RRSP-matching, full benefits, etc.
