They are seeking several experienced Epic consultants to join their team on a short-term engagement providing frontline support to clinical, operational, and patient access teams during a key transition period.
These are active vacancies requiring highly adaptable consultants who are comfortable working directly with end users in fast-paced healthcare settings. The organization is open to a blended mix of
Epic Certified Principal Trainers and Epic Analysts with strong operational support experience and the ability to work effectively within highly visible environments.
We are currently seeking consultants with experience supporting ambulatory and patient access workflows within Epic environments. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a large-scale healthcare transformation initiative within a collaborative and well-supported clinical setting.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Provide frontline support to clinical and operational end users within Epic environments
- Assist users with workflow navigation, issue resolution, and day-to-day operational support
- Support ambulatory, scheduling, registration, and patient access workflows across multiple clinical areas
- Reinforce workflow best practices and support effective end-user adoption
- Escalate application, workflow, or operational concerns appropriately to internal leadership teams
- Participate in operational support activities and centralized escalation processes where required
- Document recurring issues, workflow observations, and support trends during the engagement
- Work collaboratively with clinical, technical, and operational stakeholders to maintain continuity throughout the transition period
About You The successful candidate will have the following:
- Strong Epic experience supporting ambulatory and/or patient access workflows
- Experience working as an Epic Principal Trainer, Analyst, or go-live support consultant
- Epic experience within Ambulatory, Cadence or Prelude will be required
- Previous experience supporting healthcare organizations during large-scale Epic initiatives preferred
- Strong understanding of clinical operations, scheduling workflows, registration processes, and end-user support practices
- Ability to work independently in high-volume and fast-paced healthcare environments
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable supporting a broad range of clinical and operational end users in real time
- Flexibility to support evening and weekend coverage as operationally required
- Must be available to work onsite throughout the duration of the engagement
About the Job - This is a short-term contract engagement expected to run during June 2026
- Shift structures will primarily consist of standard 8-hour coverage, with some extended coverage requirements potentially required depending on operational needs
- This is a fully onsite position in the Greater Toronto Area
- Immediate availability is strongly preferred
- Rates $65.00/hr + depending on experience
