About the Opportunity


Our client is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to support a major enterprise financial systems initiative focused on production readiness, operational transition, testing coordination, and go live support. This is a high visibility opportunity suited to a consultant who thrives in fast paced environments and can effectively bridge the gap between business, operational, QA, and technical teams.

Working closely with program leadership and cross functional stakeholders, the successful consultant will support operational readiness activities, facilitate testing and validation efforts, coordinate deployment support activities, and ensure operational teams are prepared for a successful production rollout.

Duties include but are not limited to:
  • Support production readiness planning and operational transition activities for a financial systems implementation
  • Collaborate with business and QA stakeholders to validate workflows, testing outcomes, and business scenarios
  • Identify, track, and help resolve operational gaps, defects, and process issues during testing and deployment phases
  • Develop and maintain operational documentation including SOPs, runbooks, process flows, support procedures, and user guides
  • Ensure documentation remains aligned with evolving solution changes throughout the project lifecycle
  • Develop end user training materials and support knowledge transfer initiatives
  • Coordinate readiness activities across business, operational, and project delivery teams
  • Support go live planning, deployment activities, and post implementation stabilization efforts
  • Act as a liaison between business and technical stakeholders to support communication and issue resolution
  • Support integration testing, UAT, and end to end testing activities to ensure business requirements are met
  • Perform additional related activities and deliverables as required
About You

The successful candidate will have the following:
  • University degree or college diploma in Computer Science or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of recent experience supporting production readiness, go live planning, and operational transition activities for technology solutions
  • Minimum 3 years of recent experience supporting integration testing, UAT, and end to end validation activities
  • Demonstrated experience developing user guides, operational documentation, and knowledge transfer materials
  • Strong communication and facilitation skills with the ability to engage both business and technical stakeholders
  • Proven experience coordinating across multiple stakeholder groups including QA, operational support teams, technical teams, and business users
  • CBAP, CCBA, or related certifications are considered an asset
  • Ability to obtain Secret level security clearance
  • Must have resided in Canada for a minimum of 5 years to qualify for the required clearance
About the Job
  • Full time contract opportunity at 37.5 hours per week
  • Initial contract term of 2 years
  • Hybrid work environment requiring approximately 4 days onsite per month (downtown Ottawa)
  • Overtime and occasional after hours support may be required
