About the Opportunity

Our Public Sector client is seeking a Senior Special Advisor to support their transition from SharePoint on-premises to SharePoint Online, and assist in operationalizing a newly implemented Information and Communications Technology (ICT) Programme Demand List. This initiative is aimed at modernizing internal tools and improving information management processes.

The successful candidate will provide strategic advice to senior leadership, develop and implement best-practice solutions using Microsoft 365 and Power Platform, and support the organization's transformation efforts through training, tool development, and system stabilization.

Duties include but are not limited to:
  • Advise senior leadership on organizational improvement opportunities
  • Assess current business processes and IM tools
  • Provide strategic guidance on the migration to SharePoint Online and Power Platform
  • Support the operationalization of the ICT Programme Demand List
  • Design and implement improvements aligned with industry best practices
  • Develop training materials, SOPs, and facilitate training sessions for staff
  • Execute SharePoint Online migrations from legacy systems
  • Support and stabilize newly developed systems and tools
  • Design and develop custom SharePoint Online and Power Platform solutions
  • Maintain compliance with relevant government policies and security requirements
About You

The successful candidate will have the following:
  • Post Secondary Degree/Diploma in business analysis, information management, or a related field is an asset
  • Minimum 5 years (within the last 7) working with Microsoft 365 tools including SharePoint Online, MS Forms, Power Platform (Power Automate, Power BI, Power Apps)
  •  At least 7 years (within the last 10) supporting complex SharePoint environments, including site collection design and migration projects
  • Proven experience advising executive stakeholders and leading business transformation initiatives
  • Strong background in training development and delivery
  • Bilingual (Minimum Intermediate level in both oral and written French and English)
  • Valid Secret clearance is required
