We are now seeking to hire a qualified Software and Applications Programmer to work on a full-time basis and join our team of professionals.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain software applications for analysing real estate market trends, property performance and financial projections, using a variety of programming languages and tools.
• Research, consult, analyse and evaluate system program needs.
• Test and debug real estate software applications, such as property management software, customer relationship management (CRM) system and valuation and appraisal tools, and resolve errors and security challenges to ensure desirable functionality.
• Identify technology limitations and deficiencies in current real estate systems and related processes, procedures and methods.
• Write, modify and maintain code of real estate programs to ensure compliance with industry standards and meet system requirements and technical specifications.
• Write, update and maintain technical program, end-user documentation and operational procedures.
• Collaborate with Chartered Accountants to create software-based financial models that assist in projecting the impact of property acquisitions on cashflow, tax obligations and equity growth.
• Offer expertise and provide advice in developing proposals and strategies for software design activities.
• Collect and analyse operational metrics of software programs, such as property investment performance, return on investment (ROI), etc.
• Manage the testing of real estate software, programs and applications and track how well they align with the unique requirements of the business and clients.
• Identify bottlenecks in system design and software development and develop strategies for continuous improvement and delivery.
• Perform forensic analysis to detect anomalies or potential security threats.
• Implement security measures such as encryption, access controls and authentication to protect sensitive information and data and maintain the privacy of clients.
• Remain up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies.
Qualification and Skills Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree or higher qualification in technology or related fields
• At least 5 years of relevant work experience (relevant certification may substitute for the formal qualification)
• Good written and oral communication skills
• Ability to cope up with new technologies and to work in fast-paced environment
• Configuration and integration experience
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C++, Python or NET
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Experienced with agile development methodologies and software development lifecycle
Salary Offer: $70,000 plus superannuation
