About the role
The position of Personal Assistant plays a vital role in our administration team. Working in a full-time capacity 38 hours a week, Monday to Friday between the hours of 9 am and 5 pm with no public holidays and free onsite parking. We are looking for candidates who have had previous experience working in a medical specialist environment. The successful candidate must have an approachable manner with excellent customer service skills and be able to commence approximately 20 November 2023.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the day to day running of the clinic including meeting and greeting patients, answering calls and email enquiries
Booking appointments for consulting and theatre lists
Scanning, faxing and filing
Maintenance of medical records in accordance with our policies and procedures
Skills & Experience
Excellent verbal, written and computer skills (experience with Xestro medical software desirable).
Awareness of medical ethics & privacy principles
Self-motivated team player
Demonstrated ability to multi-task and work well under pressure
Be well presented and have a high attention to detail
Knowledge of Medicare, workcover/third party and health fund billing. Accurately invoice, receipt and reconcile patient payments and accounts
