The purpose of this position is to assist with a back log of patient financial screenings in an effort to get patients qualified for healthcare services. They will be reviewing patients files, entering data and updating spreadsheets.
A strong candidate will have experience working within EHR/EMR tools/system.
Must be comfortable reaching out to patients to gather information and provide updates regarding their eligibility for healthcare coverage.
They will be doing clerical type work:
1. Opening mail and scanning into Medicaider
2. Reviewing emails for documents to scan
3. Scanning documents into Medicaider
4. Entering information into Medicaider -
5. Answering patients general questions on phone - may need to use interpreter service.
Office Clerk, Filing, faxing, scanning
*6+ months of healthcare experience
*6+ months of data entry and customer service experience
*Familiar with using basic office equipment such as fax machine, scanner and email
Will work in Excel and other data bases to review patient information.
Dealing with patient billing, eligibility, financial screening or insurance. Patient front office/back office experience may suffice.
Must clear:

-Medical screenings, TB, Varicella, MMR, Flu shot, Hep B
