Join us and start doing your life's best work.(sm)The Subject Matter Expert - Worker Portal Team Lead is responsible for providing SME expertise on eligibility for the state eligibility system. This person will provide guidance and insight on any modifications to the state solution as it relates to Eligibility.The Subject Matter Expert - Worker Portal Team Lead works closely with the Solution Architect, Functional Lead and Technical Leads to lead the Eligibility team. This person works closely with their M&O partners and the State to meet State requirements. This person is responsible for analyzing the full upstream and downstream impacts of any modifications to the state eligibility system as it relates to Eligibility Team.Primary Responsibilities:* Lead the Tracks critical to the Worker Portal* Tracks include a matrix teams including business analysts, developers, testers, and other participants associated with delivering upgrades to state eligibility system (e.g., Reports, Correspondence, Back Office, Front Office)* Validates that the state eligibility system aligns with the line of business* Works with Solution Architect, Functional Lead, and Technical Lead to lead the Worker Portal Team* Ensure compliance with CMS, FNS, SSA, and IRS requirements* Provide SME expertise on system design and maintenance* Work with M&O partners and the State* Manages configuration activities for development, modification and enhancement of solution components or applications managed* Analyzes requirements for the business and M&O and determines the impact of modifications to the state eligibility maintenance and operations systemsYou'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.Required Qualifications:* Bachelor's degree* 5+ years of experience supporting business technology systems* 5+ years of experience with hardware and/or software troubleshooting* 4+ years of experience managing requirements, development, and testing for SDLC projects* 4+ years of experience in managing a small technical team* 4+ years of experience interacting with User management, User staff and IT technical staff to determine requirements and develop designs and specifications for new applications* 4+ years of project experience with Health or human services programs* Knowledge of Medicaid benefit eligibility systems* Strong understanding of the technologies associated with the Integrated Eligibility solution, including programming and database technologies, interface technologies* Location - Commutable distance to Providence, Rhode IslandPreferred Qualifications:* Certification in ITIL* Strong understanding of Software SDLC methodologies and SDLC artifacts, of Structured Query Language (SQL) and data warehousing design as needed* Strong business analyst and problem- solving skills, understanding of Structured Query Language (SQL) and data warehousing design as needed* Strong understanding of Test Management and Quality SDLC best practices* Strong understanding of CMS MEET, FNS SIRT, and FNS Test Plan requirementsCareers with Optum.
