Credit Application Administrator


This position is located in Metairie, LA 70002 The Credit Application Administrator administers lending and credit business applications.
Implements, test, trains, troubleshoots, and maintains applications.
Acts as liaison between the financial institution, application vendors, internal departments and end users.
Job Requirements: Minimum GED or High school diploma Minimum of 7-10 years experience in banking operations Ability to conduct required training and end-user support functions Extensive familiarity with financial institution information system requirements Good analytical, mathematical and problem-solving skills Ability to understand the technical and often theoretical concepts of systems and to explain them to staff members Good verbal and written communication skills Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.
Excel, Word and Outlook Ability to work with limited supervision Good organization, time-management, and interpersonal skills Ability to work in fast-paced environment, solve problems, meet deadlines, and quickly adapt to change Preferred: Ability to document business and system requirements, procedures, and workflows Project management experience Familiarity and knowledge of nCino lending platform, Finastra LaserPro and DecisionPro, EllieMae Encompass or other similar lending or credit business applications Data warehousing, report development and data integration experience FIS ImageCentre FCM or other content management application experience Specific Job Functions: Responsible for understanding the features, capabilities and roadmaps of administered business applications and their impact on the institution Maintain understanding of complementary technologies and their potential benefits for the business In partnership with business leadership, collaborate to identify, define and implement business process improvements, leveraging business applications and related technologies Responsible for request, incident, problem and change management processes for administered business applications including communications with end user and management Assist bankers, lenders and back office users with troubleshooting administered business applications Responsible for managing and maintaining library of application documentation and training materials, working closely with business and training department personnel to ensure alignment with business process and policies Lead scheduling, testing and implementation of upgrades and releases to administered business applications.
Prepare release summaries for end users.
Coordinate user testing effort. Obtain end user sign-off Responsible for setups of new banking products in administered business applications Responsible for application maintenance including updating rates, policies, and loan product definitions Develop custom reports and charts based on departmental request, needs and tracking purposes In partnership with IT Systems Administration, design software and hardware environment improvements Complies with regulatory rules and regulations, evidenced through successful completion of training and demonstrated ability Performs other duties as appointed by management.
