SummaryOur client is engaging in an enterprise-wide customer experience overhaul, both the consumer facing aspects of selling their products and services, as well as the back office support that is currently happening in a manual and antiquated fashion. They are looking for a Senior Scrum Master to provide leadership and direction to personnel engaged in planning, implementing, testing and monitoring of computer systems and software including relevant business process and activities. This resource will serve as a subject matter expert in both Agile methodologies and project management, and will provide IT project and backlog planning, coordination and reporting.Responsibilities* Manage backlog for continuous improvement enhancements* Support and educate product owners and product managers, with respect to refining and managing the product backlog and decision making* Lead Scrum ceremonies which include daily stand up, sprint planning, sprint reviews with demo and retrospective* Lead testing efforts and define deployment and cutover plans* Facilitate the Agile methodology and manage, lead and direct the work efforts of resources that are functionally aligned as part of the project team* Ensure effective communication within and across teams and projects* Schedule and facilitate cross-functional meetings and ensure appropriate progress tools and reports effectively provide transparency on progress* Manage the coordination of project activities with business owners/stakeholders and project team* Plan and manage Agile projects including requirements gathering, defining deliverables, work breakdown structures, effort estimates and project schedules* Oversee development and integration efforts* Create project, risk mitigation, communication plans and other project deliverables* Identify resource requirements and project costs* Manage vendor activities* Provide thought leadership to stakeholders as to effectively standing up SAFe and how to think about SAFe in the client's IT organization as well as in its product development organizationQualifications* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or another technical field* 10 years of experience in IT project management* 5 years of experience in a regulated industry* 5 years of experience managing agile projects and having scrum master responsibilities* 5 years of project management experience with Commercial, Operations, Supply Chain or RA/QA systems such as ERP or Quality Management Systems* Experience working with cross-functional teams, remote teams and Contract Manufacturers* Experience with SDLC processes and business analysis methodologies* Excellent written and verbal communication skills* Strong functional business knowledge including Quality, CRM, Supply Chain and Operations* Solid influencing, negotiating, presentation and facilitations skills* Familiarity with managing and updating Jira boards* Understanding of release-when ready, test-driven development, continuous integration, product demonstration and other technical engineering practices* Understanding of the fundamentals of Scrum methodologies* Understanding of the General Data Protection regulation* Understanding of ETL solutions and web services is a plus* Ability to effectively work with and challenge customers* Ability to independently evaluate situations and identify the optimal course of action* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple teams, on concurrent projects* Ability to review project deliverables for completeness, quality and compliance with established project standards* PMP or CSM certification is a plus
