WANTED: An experienced Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) with demonstrated experience performing cyber security (CS) analyses in TS, SECRET, Unclassified and SAP environments. As an Information System Security Officer you will:* Be responsible for supporting CS Assessment and Authorization (A&A) tasks for all classified and unclassified program networks/systems; will participate in CS activities that support compliance with DoD CS requirements.* Be responsible for CS security control compliance involving detection, incident response, and recovery activity of all program networks/systems.* Assess and implement the CS posture of program systems/enclaves to ensure compliance with RMF and NIST 800-53 security controls; develop/maintain associated CS A&A documentation.* Protect and sustain CS tenants of Confidentiality, Integrity, and Availability in addition to ensuring access control and non-repudiation parameters are configured and implemented for these environments. This includes specifically performing system security analysis, identifying and implementing information system protection solutions, and preparing and maintaining system security engineering and other security related documentation.* Configure security features to mitigate vulnerabilities of various operating systems as defined by NIST, DISA (STIGs), and USCYBERCOM. Perform security administration tasks including operating system security configuration and account management best practices for Windows, Exchange, SQL Server, SharePoint, Red Hat Linux, Oracle, and Cisco systems.* Bring a deep technical understanding (hands-on) of a broad set of back office systems and applications (e.g., Windows operating systems, Active Directory, MS Office, internetworking, etc.) to understand, apply, and execute CS policies and tasks (e.g., review SSPs, CMPs, CPs, conduct audits log reviews of operational systems etc.).* Perform vulnerability assessments and mitigation using tools that include HBSS, ACAS, SCCM and Solarwinds, implement security controls in networking devices, databases, operating systems, hardware and software components; manage Information Assurance Vulnerability Alerts (IAVA), Information Assurance Vulnerability Bulletins (IAVB) and POA&M reports.* Perform tasks including authoring white papers, compiling status reports; conducting technical reviews of reports and presentations and responding to data calls.* Be able to work with a team of driven highly skilled professionals.
