Lead Software DevOps Security Engineer

Work you’ll do The DevSecOps Security Developer will provide expertise to stand up the CI/CD pipeline for a Government agency as part of an IT Modernization program. Full stack security software developer. Secure development coach for dev work across all IPTs Lead the direction for the standup of the DevSecOps security tools Design, implement, and manage Work with Federal clients to mitigate cyber risk and threats Organize and deliver services on a cross-section of projects Maintain technical knowledge within industry and service line and leverage deep subject matter knowledge on engagements Contribute to the development and cultivation of business and vendor relationships Serve as a “Subject Matter Expert”, adding interpretive value to data presented or experienced insight into a functional process or issue Display business judgment in anticipating client/project needs and developing alternative solutions Identify opportunities for other Company service offerings that can address client needs Responsible for managing solutions, delegating resources, and helping to ensure quality assurance principles are met across projects and deliverables Supervise the work of team members and supports delivery teams and staff Actively participate in staff recruitment and retention activities providing input and guidance into the staffing process The Team Transparency, innovation, collaboration, sustainability: these are the hallmark issues shaping Federal government initiatives today. Qualifications Required: Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Information Systems Security, Cybersecurity, or related field 5 years’ experience as a software developer focused on security architecture. Experience implement access control (SAML, OAUTH2, OpenID Connect) Experience with data security and cryptography. Experience with API Security Knowledge of container security Familiar with NIST 800-190 container security guidelines Familiar with OpenShift PaaS Experience implementing NIST 800-53 controls Ability to obtain & maintain the required security clearance Must be legally authorized to work in the United Stated without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future. 2 years in a technical or functional lead role Experience mentoring and coaching others Proven leadership skills demonstrating strong judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities Experience managing senior-level client relationships Experience presenting to clients or other decision makers to present and sell ideas to various audiences (technical and non-technical) re-sales, proposal, and RFP experience Preferred: Previous Federal Consulting experience Understanding of fundamental cloud computing concepts Experience with Information Assurance concepts and processes within the Federal government Knowledge of and experience with Federal security regulations, standards, and processes including FISMA, FIPS, NIST, and FedRAMP DevSecOps process, tools experience across the SDLC Experience in Container Platforms, APIs and Microservices development and operations Translate technical DevSecOps concepts for general understanding Technical management and planning IT/PaaS monitoring and continuous improvement strategies and techniques Scaled agile (at least SAFe training is ok)
