The company, a family-owned and operated business established in 2016, is currently seeking a highly motivated and skilled Contract Administrator to join our team. As Australia's fastest-growing transport and logistics company, we are leaders in a range of services nationwide, including Freight Management, Transport, 3PL, and Contracted Warehousing.
As a Contract Administrator, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the company's contracts with suppliers, customers, and other partners. Your work will involve the preparation and review of contract terms, the storage and maintenance of contract documents, the tracking of contract performance and changes, and the resolution of contract disputes.
We expect you to demonstrate the following skills and attributes:
- Act as the main point of contact for all contract-related matters and serve as a liaison between internal departments, external clients, and vendors.
- Draft, review and analyze contract terms and conditions, identifying risks and proposing modifications as necessary.
- Coordinate contract amendments, extensions, and terminations, ensuring proper documentation and communication.
- Coordinate and manage contract negotiations and renewals with clients and vendors.
- Communicate with various departments within the company to ensure compliance and consistency of contract terms and conditions.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date contract documentation and records.
- Conduct regular contract audits to monitor compliance and identify areas for improvement.
- Provide support and guidance in resolving contract-related issues and disputes.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of contract management processes and systems to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Stay updated with industry trends and regulations to ensure contract legalities and best practices.
Requirements for this role include:
- Proven experience as a Contract Administrator or in a similar role.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Attention to detail and strong analytical abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks within deadlines.
- Proficiency in contract management software and MS Office Suite.
- Experience in the transport and logistics industry is a plus.
