About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Other Draftsperson to join our team on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and producing technical drawings, designs, and specifications essential for the manufacturing of our premium caravans. This role is crucial in ensuring design accuracy, compliance with industry standards, and seamless coordination between design and production teams.

Key Responsibilities

1. Develop detailed technical drawings and specifications for caravan manufacturing.
2. Collaborate with engineers and production teams to refine and optimise designs.
3. Interpret and apply Australian Design Rules (ADR) and other industry standards to technical drawings.
4. Use computer-aided design (CAD) software to produce high-precision drafts.
5. Modify and update existing drawings as required to reflect design changes.
6. Ensure all drafting work aligns with company design principles, safety regulations, and client specifications.
7. Maintain organized records of drawings, technical documents, and revisions.

Skills and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications and competencies, as per ANZSCO 312914 guidelines:

1. Completion of adiploma or higher qualification in engineering drafting, industrial design, or a related field.
2. Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar drafting tools.
3. Ability to interpret and create technical drawings, schematics, and product designs.
4. Excellent problem-solving and attention-to-detail skills to ensure precision in design work.
5. Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with designers and production teams.
6. Previous experience in a similar role is highly desirable.
