HM NSW PTY LTD is recruiting an Accountant, with a desire to learn and be part of a diverse, fast-paced team at our office in Riverwood, NSW 2210 on a full-time basis.
Duties include, but will not be limited to:
- Forecasting and Budget Preparation and Analysis - Assist in the development of Monthly, Quarterly and Annual Forecasting and Operational Budgets.
- Operational Financial Analysis - Assist in the analysis and preparation of reports in order to present an accurate picture of our operational efficiency.
- Generate Financial Reporting - Assist in the preparation of all daily, weekly, month end and year end reporting.
- Analytical Reporting- Monitoring and analysing profit loss account in order to present an accurate picture of the businesses financial position at a given point in time.
- Supervise Accounts Payable & Payroll- Supervise the preparation and execution of all accounts payable, payroll and preparation of labour report.
- Preparation of other compliance such as BAS, FBT, IAS, Payroll tax and Company Tax Returns.
- Cash flow analysis and accounting systems management.
- Preparation and review of financial modelling required for capital expenditure proposals.
- Contributing to and delivery of improvements of internal processes and procedures of the company’s accounting management system.
You will also be responsible for:
- Implementing Australian Accounting Standards and GAAP.
- Ensuring the consistency and integrity of all of the company’s financials and their respective reporting requirements.
- Developing and implementing an ongoing best practice system with reference to our financial reporting obligations and requirements.
- The integrity of all accounts payable and payroll.
- Following and undertaking all reasonable direction from the Business Owner.
To succeed in this role, you must have
- Minimum 2- 3 years working in a similar role (specially BAS, Payroll Tax preparation) in Accounting.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or Accounting
- Advanced knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
- Advanced Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Word, Excel) with a heavy focus on Excel
- Prior experience with Accrivia Software
Salary
Salary for this role is 90k-100k per annum depending on the selected candidate’s experience.
