Salary: $83,000 plus 11.5% superannuation

As a Civil Engineer at NAVAN Builders Group, you will play a pivotal role in designing, planning, and managing civil engineering projects, including residential and mixed-use developments. You will conduct site assessments and feasibility studies to determine project viability and prepare detailed engineering designs, drawings, and specifications.

This position requires collaboration with a team of experienced professionals dedicated to providing exceptional service, quality workmanship, and timely project completion. Your expertise will contribute to delivering projects that are both aesthetically pleasing and functional, aligning with the company's commitment to excellence.

You may be requited to visit multiple project sites in the surrounding areas.

Qualifications and Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in multi-discipline project delivery.
  • Proficiency in utilizing a variety of civil design packages.
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, plan, and manage civil engineering projects, including residential and mixed-use developments.
  • Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies to determine project viability.
  • Prepare detailed engineering designs, drawings, and specifications.
  • Manage and direct construction, operations, or maintenance activities at project sites.
  • Organize and oversee site labor and the delivery of construction materials, plant, and equipment.
  • Study engineering drawings and specifications to estimate total costs.
  • Analyze structural systems for both static and dynamic loads.
  • Prepare detailed cost plans and estimates to assist in budgetary control.

·      Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project success.

·      Monitor changes to designs, assessing effects on cost, and measuring, valuing and negotiating variations to designs

  • Liaise with internal and external clients
  • Tender and contract management
  • Monitor project progress and implement necessary adjustments to meet deadlines.

·      Direct engineering activities, ensuring compliance with environmental, safety, or other governmental regulations

Skills Requirements:

  • Strong technical knowledge of civil engineering principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in civil design software and tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
