Our 26-room motel provides guests with air-conditioned luxury and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The Boulder Opal Motor Inn provides quality accommodation and has a licensed restaurant and bar open for breakfast and dinner.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Hotel/Motel Manager to lead our team and manage the daily operations at The Boulder Opal Motor Inn. The successful candidate will ensure smooth operations, exceptional guest service, and high-quality standards across all areas of the motel.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all front-of-house operations, including reservations, reception, room service, and housekeeping, ensuring smooth daily activities.
• Oversee the security, landscaping, and overall property maintenance to ensure a safe and well-maintained environment.
• Plan and coordinate activities for the bar, restaurant, events, and conferences, ensuring seamless execution and high-quality service.
• Ensure compliance with liquor licensing laws and other regulatory requirements, maintaining legal standards at all times.
• Monitor guest satisfaction, gathering feedback, and making necessary improvements to enhance their experience.
• Oversee financial operations, including accounting, purchasing, and budget management, to ensure smooth business operations.
• Enforce strict compliance with health, safety, and occupational standards to maintain a secure and healthy environment.
• Provide guests with local tourism information, and arrange tours and transportation services to enhance their stay.

Qualifications and Skills Required:

• Proven experience in hotel or motel management or a similar role
• Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Proficient in hotel management software and Microsoft Office
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
• Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma is a must
