Full Time ICT Business Analyst – Ultimo Sydney

JOIDEA CREATIVE PTY LTD (MyGrowth Community) provides cutting-edge technology services including AI and IoT solutions, media and digital marketing services to global clients in Education, Hospitality, Agriculture and Aged Care across Australia, U.S. and Japan.

To be located in our office in Ultimo, inner Sydney, we require an ongoing full-time IT Business Analyst to engage in developing and continuously improving business solutions for our clients using existing and new technologies to enhance business performance, develop more efficient and effective business workflows using existing and new systems and technologies, documenting business processes using business analysis methodologies, establishing strong relationships with our customers, providing regular reports to the Director and clients, and working closely with our clients businesses to establish and capture business reporting, dashboards and Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) to measure goal achievement, improve performance and ensure satisfaction of business requirements.

We require a bachelor-level (or higher) IT professional with Business Analyst experience (2+ years), or someone with at least 7 years’ experience if they aren’t bachelor qualified. Salary of $125,000 + super for this full-time position.

Reporting to the Director, you will undergo the following responsibilities and tasks.

Tasks and Responsibilities:  

• Responsible for establishing suitable IT management tools for clients, in order to elevate and sustain their business growth.
• Responsible for transforming the requirements into operational use for project plans through various ways; using documentation, presentations, workflows, diagrams.
• Prepare business cases for business initiatives and development in business processes.
• Effectively use the Scrum-Agile framework to allow different teams to elevate the end product’s quality.
• Continuously analyse the business processes to maximize knowledge of the practices.
• Provide End User Trainings to the focused clientele.
• Prepare feasibility studies and analyse requirements by checking with the client teams, in order to ensure that the deliverables are in accordance with the specified system software requirements.
• Troubleshoot bugs and errors in the procured hardware and software.
• Monitor the entire maintenance process of hardware systems.
• Identify shortcomings of software applications in usage and proposing possible corrections for it by DISCUSS TECHNICAL TERMS AND/OR SPECIFIC SOFTWARES.
• Extend IT based support to various clients as well as team tasks within the organisation.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of a relevant IT Bachelor qualification (or 5 years of experience in lieu of a qualification).

Experience Requirement:

• At least 2 years of relevant experience (7 years for those without a qualification).
