We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Web Developer based in Cincinnati, Ohio. The successful candidate will utilize their skills in CSS, HTML5, JavaScript, PHP, and MySQL to develop and maintain high-quality web applications.
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain high-quality web applications using JavaScript, PHP, and MySQL
Optimize the performance of web applications to ensure efficient operation
Ensure web security standards are maintained to protect sensitive information
Collaborate with team members on the development of new features for web applications
Utilize skills in Full Stack Development to enhance the functionality of web applications
Work with MS Access for database management and VBA for automation tasks
Convert MS Access databases to MySQL as required
Continually update and improve skills to stay current with industry standards.
Requirements
Proficiency in front-end development web programming languages such as PHP and JavaScript
Familiarity with database technology such as MS Access and MySQL
Strong understanding of web applications, security, session management, and best development practices
Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively
Strong problem-solving skills
Strong attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Experience in maintaining and improving website performance
Ability to learn quickly and stay abreast of current trends in web development
