We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Back End Developer located in Clive, Iowa, United States. This role is within the technology industry where you will be primarily working on PHP WordPress Backend Web Development. As a Backend Web Developer, you will drive change and play major role in working on client programs, websites, and web platforms. This is the type of a developer position where you can work on a wide range of projects and get to work with new technologies! You will get to work with on .NET and other peripheral web projects in open source and other web development languages.

Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain PHP WordPress backend applications

Utilize Linux Command Line Scripting and Bash Scripting for various tasks

Build and integrate with REST APIs

Create reusable code and libraries for future use

Troubleshoot and debug applications to ensure optimal performance

Leverage skills in Javascript, HTML, and CSS3 for web development

Engage with .NET framework as required

Apply backend development and scripting language skills to meet project requirements

Use WordPress Development and PHP Frameworks for specific tasks

Apply HTML and REST API design skills to build interactive web pages and connect with server-side infrastructure.

This role will require you to use your skills in Backend Development, CSS, WordPress, Wordpress Development, PHP Frameworks, PHP Development, PHP, JavaScript Framework, HTML, REST API, REST API Design, Bash Scripting, and Scripting Language to fulfill your responsibilities.

Requirements

Proficiency in Backend Development, CSS, WordPress, Wordpress Development
Demonstrable skills in PHP Frameworks, PHP Development, and PHP
Knowledge of JavaScript Framework, HTML, REST API, REST API Design
Familiarity with Bash Scripting, Scripting Language
At least one year of experience as a Back End Developer
The ability to develop, test, and maintain robust backend code
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think algorithmically
Understanding of the principles of secure, stable software design
The ability to work independently and as part of a larger team
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
