Your duties will include the following but are not limited to and you will report to the Company Director and Owner.

· Prepare, examine, and analyse accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports

· Prepare and reconcile profit and loss, balance sheet and other financial reports including preparation and posting of any necessary adjusting journals

· Prepare special financial reports by collecting, analysing, and summarising account information and trends, for internal decision-making purposes

· Reviewing cash flow statements, providing early notices of any problems as cost over-runs, excessive charges, and potential penalties while maintaining internal control systems.

· Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions (accounts payable and receivable) are recorded with periodic reconciliation and settlement

· Analyse business operations, trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations

· Prepare and review weekly payrolls, employee benefits, leave provisions accurately and on a timely basis including tax allocation for PAYG

· Maintain accounting controls and provide advice

· Perform general account analysis and reconciliations, including bank statements, credit card statements.

· Assisting in preparation of company budget for future planning and comparing projected budget with actual budget.

· Compute and report taxes owed to the ATO.

· Liaising with ATO and collaborate with other departments to obtain information required for accounting analysis and verify correctness of information and compliance.

· Implementation and administering accounting information systems in accounting software Xero, and MYOB

About the applicant

· Tertiary qualifications, preferably in accounting or commerce or demonstrated equivalent experience, knowledge, and skills.

· At least three years of experience in the accounting field.

· Extensive accounting knowledge with excellent attention to details.

· Ability to prioritize and work effectively within a team as well as individual

· Multiple systems experience.
