Primary Role

The Practice Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Medical Centre. 

This role is suited for a candidate that leads from the front, puts the people first, and enjoys a team environment for a busy mixed billing General Practice located in Waurn Ponds, VIC. 

Core responsibilities are the fundamental customer services that we provide to our consulting doctors and patients through our well-managed and well-trained support teams. The Practice Manager must make decisions, support, and exhibit behaviour that is consistent with Medical One processes, systems, and core values.

All members of the Medical One Management and Support Team are available for support for any unusual or systematic difficulties arising in relation to effective management of the practices.

Our Medical Centre is a modern General Practice with state-of-the art facilities and Zedmed software is in use (software training will be provided). 

About you

• Have a proactive, organised, and positive attitude;
• Display strong relationship building skills;
• Demonstrate strong leadership, communication, mentoring and motivational skills with a high attention to detail;
• Experience as a Practice Manager or Assistant Practice Manager;
• Must have experience supervising staff;
• Desirable – Medical industry experience;
• Full training will be provided to the right person;
•  

Education

• Minimum VCE completion;
• Desirable – Qualifications in Business Administration/Management or related field.
