Program & Project Administrator



Fire and Embers T/A Margaret (Double Bay, NSW) owned by Neil Perry is seeking an experienced Program & Project Administrator to join the Finance and Administration team. Voted as Good Food Guide Australia's Restaurant of the year in 2023, the Margaret Restaurant group will be growing in the next 12 months, and we are looking for an experienced Program & Project Administrator to assist in this rapid growth.  


This is a full-time position (office hours, Monday - Friday) that will see you work closely with the CEO, CFO and Venue Management. 


Your duties will include but not be limited to: 


  • Planning, implementation and management of all Finance and Head Office programs, systems and projects
  • Reporting on project mobilisation timelines, progression and financial outcomes. Comparison of results against project deliverables
  • Being instrumental in the project of implementing and upkeep a new HR & WHS Cloud Based management system. This project requires the ability to work alongside Company management to ensure goals and timeframes are met, and advise on areas that may require attention or action 
  • Ongoing collection, processing and analysis of data, associated with current and upcoming projects, including the opening new venues 
  •  Complete daily, weekly, and monthly checklists, reports and reconciliations / submissions on Company’s performance and activities
  • Understanding and involvement in all company computer systems, including HR/WHS systems, time & attendance, accounting software and Microsoft 365 packages


To be successful in this position you will have experience working in a hospitality setting and at least 2 years experience with duties relevant to the  position of a Program & Project administrator.  You will be computer literate and have strong proven experience with the Microsoft Suite of programs, including Outlook, Word & Excel.  You will have the ability to interact and work with all levels of staff; from junior employees, through to Executive Management.

Salary offered: $70,000pa - $85,000pa +Super
